Our Founder and CEO, Marci Zaroff
Since the 1990s, Marci Zaroff has been transforming the fashion industry, having coined and trademarked the term "ecofashion” in 1995. EFC is the embodiment of her vision — styling the world of change, changing the world of style.

Marci believes that no one should have to compromise on their values. Looking and feeling good should not have to come at the expense of living in harmony with the environment.
“My entire life's work has revolved around building a sustainable lifestyle. I have raised my children with these values, maintained a sustainable diet, and worked tirelessly to create policies and supply chains that support the environment. For over 30 years, I have been behind the scenes, writing standards, producing documentaries, and working to drive the movement forward. While many people may not know who I am, I see myself as a marketing vehicle for this lifestyle and this movement. It's not about me or my ego — it's about personifying the belief that climate action is no longer a choice, but an imperative.”
